On 1/13/12 at 12:10 a.m., Karen E. Bird, 52, of 1186 50 Lakes Dr., Southport, NC was arrested for DWI, a misdemeanor following an investigation into a reckless driver complaint on state Route 3, near state Route 49 in the Town of Volney after her vehicle almost struck another one and then she was found by police to be sitting in her vehicle with the engine running in a parking lot of a Town of Palermo business. Bird was arraigned in Volney Town Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $2000 cash or $4000 bond with a return to Town of Palermo Court on 1/30/12. On 1/12/12 at 10:29 p.m., James A. Hall, 30, of Russell Rd., Bldg. 181, Fulton was arrested for Petit Larceny following an incident at the Town of Granby Wal-Mart when he allegedly stolen personal hygiene items. Hall was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to Granby Town Court on 2/6/12. On 1/11/12 at 10:15 a.m., Brandon C. Halsdorf, 22, of county Route 33 Bldg. 321, Central Square was arrested for DWI, Operating a MV with BAC .08 of 1% and AUO, 1st degree, a class E felony following a property damage mva on county Route 12 in the Town of Hastings as he was reportedly traveling west and his vehicle exited the roadway, hitting a culvert and crashing into a group of trees. Halsdorf was arraigned in Hastings Town Court and is scheduled to reappear on 2/29/12. On 1/11/12 at 11:27 a.m., Joseph R. Hotaling, 29, of 276 W. Stone Rd., Fulton was arrested for Assault, 3rd degree following an incident that reportedly occurred on 1/7/12 at a residence in the Town of New Haven when he allegedly punched a victim in the face multiple times. Hotaling was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in New Haven Town Court on 1/26/12. On 1/11/12 at 9:00 p.m., Matthew T. Zellar, 35, of Capitol St. Bldg. 4, Auburn was served a Criminal Summons charging him with Trespass stemming from an incident that occurred in the Town of Constantia on 11/21/11 after he was asked to vacate a premise and refused to do so. Zellar is scheduled to appear in court on 1/23/12. On 1/10/12 at 8:09 a.m., a 14-year old male residing in the City of Oswego was charged with Juvenile Delinquency for a crime that, if committed by an adult, would constitute the charge of Attempted Burglary, 2nd degree, a class C felony. The male allegedly participated in trying to break into a residence in the Town of Scriba on 11/3/11. The youth and his parent were issued a Juvenile Appearance ticket, referring them to Oswego County Family Court. On 1/10/12 at 6:27 a.m., a 14-year old male residing in the City of Oswego was charged with Juvenile Delinquency for a crime, if committed by an adult, would constitute the charges of 2 counts of Burglary, 2nd degree, a class C felony and 2 counts of Petit Larceny. The male is accused of his alleged participation in the breaking in of residences in the Town of Scriba on 11/3/11 where electronics were taken. The male and his parent were issued Juvenile Appearance tickets directing them to Oswego County Family Court. On 1/10/12 at 10:40 a.m., George T. Graham, 26, of 22 White Birches Lane, Sandy Creek was arrested for Strangulation, 2nd degree, a class D felony; Unlawful Imprisonment, 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor; Unauthorized Use of a MV, 3rd degree, a class A misdemeanor; Operator Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident and Imprudent Speed following a domestic incident in the Town of Sandy Creek on 1/6/12 when he allegedly threw the victim down on the ground and placed an article of clothing over their mouth then forced them into a vehicle, holding the victim's hands to restrain them from leaving as he drove the vehicle. Graham lost control of the 1999 Jeep Cherokee causing it to exit the east side of the roadway and strike a guard wire as he approached state Route 3 and Carter Dr. Graham was arraigned in Sandy Creek Town Court and released for a later court appearance. On 1/10/12 at 10:50 a.m., Kelly M. Burden, 39, of E. 13th St. Bldg. 65, Oswego was arrested for AUO, 3rd degree (5 scoffs, 3 on 2 dates) and Operating a MV w/o Inspection Certificate following a traffic stop on county Route 57 in the Town of Schroeppel. Burden was released on UTT's, returnable to Schroeppel Town Court on 1/25/12. On 1/10/12 at 11:32 p.m., Daniel M. Hopkins III, 50, of 828 county Route 11, West Monroe was arrested for Criminal Mischief, 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor following a domestic incident in the Town of Hastings where he smashed the windshield of a vehicle at the residence. Hopkins was released on an appearance ticket, returnable Hastings Town Court on 1/25/12. On 1/10/12 at 7:38 p.m., James A. Matott, 53, of 65 E. 10th St. Floor #2, Oswego was arrested at the OCJ based on a Bench Warrant issued out of the Scriba Town Court. Matott was arraigned in the Scriba Town Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $250 cash or $1000 bond with a return court date of 1/12/12. On 1/10/12 at 5:47 p.m., Chandra D. Wilson, 38, of 134 county Route 85, Fulton was operating a 2004 Pontiac north on state Route 34 in the Town of Hannibal, 2/10 mile north of Miner Road., when two deer reportedly entered the roadway and one collided with the vehicle. Wilson was issued a UTT for Suspended Registration due to insurance lapse on 9/4/11. Wilson was issued a UTT, returnable to Hannibal Town Court on 1/31/12. On 1/9/12 at 9:09 p.m., Derrick D. Bartlett, 25, of state Route 3, Volney was arrested for Disorderly Conduct following an incident in the parking lot of a Town of Palermo business in which he was allegedly fighting with another individual and when requested by police to stop, continued on. Bartlett was arraigned in the Volney Town Court and released with a return to Palermo Town Court on 1/23/12. On 1/9/12 at 10:42 a.m., a 14-year old male residing in the City of Oswego was charged with Juvenile Delinquency for a crime, if committed by an adult, would constitute the charge of Criminal Trespass, 3rd degree, a class B misdemeanor. The male is accused of entering a residence in the Town of Scriba with the intent of stealing property from the victim. The youth and his parent were issued a Juvenile Appearance ticket directing them to Oswego County Family Court. On 1/9/12 at 2:20 p.m., Ashley M. Lowe, 24, of 9463 US Route 11 Apt Front, Brewerton was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor following an incident in the Town of West Monroe after the vehicle she was riding in was stopped by police due to an expired inspection certificate and she allegedly contained in her possession, two baggies of heroin. Lowe was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to West Monroe Town Court on 2/13/12. At the same time, Anthony J. Belge, 23, of 9648 US Route 11, Brewerton was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, 7th degree and Operating a MV w/o Inspection Certificate resulting from the findings of two baggies of heroin in his alleged possession. Belge was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to West Monroe Town Court on 2/13/12. On 1/9/12 at 11:22 p.m., Richard J. Alvarado, 47, of 307 Rathburn Road, Bldg. 24, Fulton was arrested based on a Bench Warrant issued out of Hannibal Town Court for Failure to Pay a Fine. Alvarado was arraigned in Hannibal Town Court and released. On 1/9/12 at 12:47 a.m., Lucian M. Crocker, 39 of 1593 US Route 11, Pulaski, was charged with Harassment, Second Degree, a violation, following a domestic dispute at his residence, during which he allegedly screamed at victims in a threatening manner causing them to fear for their lives. Crocker was arraigned in Richland Town Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,500 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to court on 1/19/12.
